Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Retail Sales Manager to lead our store team and drive sales performance. The ideal candidate will work on the sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer service, staff productivity, and a strong brand presence. This position requires a motivated leader with a proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail.Key Responsibilities:• Set sales targets and ensure team performance meets or exceeds expectations.• Ensure consistently excellent customer service.• Maintain high standards of merchandising and in-store presentation.• Lead, motivate, mentor, and develop the store team to maximize sales.• Manage daily store operations, sales activities, and staff performance.• Enforce work procedures and address non-compliance appropriately.• Provide daily sales reports to management and staff. • Ensure ongoing staff training and development, along with a strong product knowledge base.Requirements and Skills:• Senior/Master’s Certificate. • Strong computer skills (Excel, email).• Fluency in English and Afrikaans (both essential).• Minimum 5 years of management experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.• Ability to build strong working relationships and lead teams effectively.• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to change.• Basic knowledge of HR.• Availability to work retail hours (195 hours per month; shifts).
