Payroll Management Professional (HCM)
The organization requires the services of a Payroll Management Professional (HCM). This position will be located in Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.

Requirements:
Diploma in Human Resources, Payroll. A university degree is preferred.
Accredited training in the Sage 300 People system.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll administration.
Experience handling large volumes of payroll.
Knowledge of or experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems).

Minimum of 3 years of experience with Sage 300 People
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
Experience in preparing SARS EMP reports, monthly EMP201, as well as annual and semi-annual reports.
Responsibilities
Maintain, monitor, and review payroll system information to ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date.
Prepare payroll system reports and compare data after processing to verify the accuracy of the information in the system. Ensure all payroll data has been approved by the relevant parties.
Review payroll calculations according to tax legislation and company policies.
Maintain records of all supporting documentation.
Ensure employees are linked to the correct primary position.
Coordinate with line management to ensure employee information and payroll are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Close payroll on time with 100% accurate data and assist with payroll variances. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding any payroll-related changes or updates.
Assist with the filing of annual and semi-annual tax returns in SARS easyfile.
Assist with the monthly electronic filing of form EMP201.
Oversee the daily operations of the payroll manager, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately. Process all payroll data, including income, deductions, employer contributions, and social security benefits, according to the document instructions, as required monthly.
Upload work batches and reconcile the processed data.
Perform payroll checks and balance the payroll before the manager generates the variance report.
Ensure that payroll deadlines are met monthly according to the compensation schedule.
Coordinate the extrapolation, control, and distribution of variance reports and other reports required by management.
Import and generate overtime and other benefits according to the payroll instructions sent.
Link new employees to ESS and correct license settings according to payroll instructions. Compile summaries of income, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages, and prepare reports. Collaborate closely with the benefits unit to ensure monthly changes are implemented correctly and that each change is accompanied by an instruction document.
Process employee transfers, internal promotions, and the transfer of licensing and hierarchy settings to the new entity.
Process and reconcile all miscellaneous information for external stakeholder deductions, such as garnishments, insurance, and other interested parties, in accordance with policies and procedures, including legal requirements.
Prepare quarterly statistics.
