Rail Vehicle Systems Division
In our Rail Vehicle Systems division, we equip public transport vehicles, such as subway cars and light rail trains, as well as freight trains, locomotives, long-distance passenger trains, and high-speed trains, with highly advanced products. In addition to braking systems, these include intelligent entry systems, HVAC systems, auxiliary power supply systems, control components and windshield wiper systems, platform doors, friction materials, driver assistance systems, electric traction equipment, and control technology.
Commercial Vehicle Systems Division
The Commercial Vehicle Systems division offers its customers braking systems for trucks, buses, trailers, and agricultural machinery. In the chassis systems sector, Knorr-Bremse is a leader in electronic control, driver assistance, and air supply systems. Other product areas include steering systems, powertrain-related systems, and torsional vibration dampers for diesel engines.

Roles and Responsibilities
As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will participate in the design of production schemes and processes that increase productivity, eliminate waste, and reduce costs, while maintaining quality standards within Knorr-Bremse SA. Your work includes creating plans and strategies for the various stages of production, as well as ensuring efficient and clean material and product flows. You will also contribute to reducing task time and improving the overall efficiency of the organization.
All of this will be carried out under the supervision of experienced industrial engineers.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
No experience is required, but a university degree/BTech in Industrial Engineering is required.
Compensation
The company offers a stipend of R9,500 per month. No other benefits apply.
