To be considered for this position, you must have successfully completed 12th grade. You must also be registered with the HPCSA as a Histology Laboratory Assistant. This foundational qualification is essential, as it ensures you have the basic knowledge and skills necessary to perform effectively in a laboratory setting. You will bring 1 to 3 years of experience as a Laboratory Assistant in a laboratory environment. Whether you are just starting out or already have valuable experience, your experience reflects your willingness to contribute and grow. This position is designed to support your development by providing opportunities to build skills that will serve you well in the future.
Weekend work will also be required.
Skills Requirements
Strong communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently are essential. You are comfortable with basic numerical reasoning and can confidently perform everyday calculations. These skills enable you to work accurately, collaborate effectively, and contribute to a positive and productive laboratory environment.
