Junior Buyer

Position: Junior BuyerLocation: Johannesburg, GautengOur client is seeking a Junior Buyer to join a dynamic FMCG distribution team and support the purchasing function by managing suppliers, controlling inventory levels, and ensuring cost-effective procurement.Requirements:• 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (preferably in FMCG).• Strong negotiation and communication skills.• Excellent organizational and time management skills.• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.• Relevant qualifications in supply chain, purchasing, or business management.Responsibilities:• Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services.• Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure on-time deliveries.• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment. • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.• Prepare purchase orders, reports, and supplier performance evaluations.• Collaborate with the finance, logistics, and operations teams to align purchasing with business objectives.If this opportunity excites you or you know someone with talent and experience, please consider them as the ideal candidate.
