Job Objective:
Teach classes for an agreed number of hours according to the module’s specialization requirements. Prepare and motivate students for assessments by monitoring the module’s pace, identifying and supporting at-risk students, managing general administrative support for students, and developing assessments in collaboration with the Central Academic Team. Assist the Program Coordinator in monitoring and analyzing academic results to evaluate module performance and identify modules at risk.
Functions and Responsibilities:
- Teach classes and motivate students according to the specific requirements and pace of each module.
- Manage resources, including academic materials and consultations with the Information Center.
- Update the learning management system and provide feedback to students.
- Prepare students for assessments, identify at-risk students, and develop assessments according to the guidelines of the Central Academic Team.
- Monitor student participation and assessment submission, taking appropriate corrective action.
- Attend and participate in academic meetings across all faculties.
- Reflect on, review, and analyze student module results.
- Support the monitoring of at-risk students in the modules assigned as a teacher.
- Academic Professional Development: Complete a specified number of academic professional development interventions per academic year that contribute to the improvement of the institution’s teaching and academic practices. Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Tourism Management.
- 2 to 3 years of teaching or formal tutoring experience.
- 1 to 3 years of specific industry experience in the area of specialization (advantageous).
- A higher NQF level than the degree being taught. • Copy of academic transcript.

- Ability to comply with standards and strictly adhere to labor regulations.
- Deadline-oriented and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to manage time effectively. Work Schedule:
Classes are held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Your work schedule will depend on the modules you are assigned.
Salary:
Competitive with the market.
